"I wish you could style for me". Your wish is my command. Introducing My Virtual Stylist, a platform created by me, Rosie McKay, so you can literally have a personal stylist at your fingertips.
As a stylist and personal stylist/ shopper with 16 years experience the above statement is the number one line I hear from anyone I meet. Sometimes fashion gets a bad wrap for being fickle, but there is absolutely no denying the feel good power of a well-styled outfit.
I am a big believer that looking good and feeling good go hand-in-hand and a well-planned out wardrobe is key to always making sure you’re putting your best foot forward in every situation. As a personal stylist, I love what I do because I see the renewed happiness and confidence it brings to my clients. There is a misconception that you need to spend a lot of money on to look good, but I disagree! It’s about spending money on the right pieces. I believe quality over quantity is better and buying well is key to creating a wardrobe with lasting power.
The aim of My Virtual Stylist is to empower you to feel your very best, most confident self in any scenario - be that a business meeting, dinner date with your partner or a playdate with your little people and other mums. The key to style confidence is a wardrobe of well-curated pieces that reflect who you are, hardworking pieces that you can mix-and-match into looks to suit your mood, day or occasion. This ability to put outfits together know-how doesn't come naturally to everyone and that's where I come in. The My Virtual Stylist platform gives you the option to purchase a digital shopping curation / personal styling, book in a face-to-face personal styling session with me OR both! If you wish you can add a face-to-face consultation to any digital package you have already purchased or simply book in time as a stand alone service. My clientele ranges from the corporate professional who needs a smart, hardworking wardrobe for the office through to a chic yet casual off-duty look, to those entering a new phase in their life or celebrating a milestone or change in body shape.
Best bit? I want to share all of this know-how with you so you can feel empowered to walk into your day, week, month feeling your very best. And before you protest - you can afford a personal stylist! Why? Because I am a whiz at working with all budgets, have an eye for choosing pieces that can be styled in multiple ways and have honed shopping a sale to a fine art.

Commanding a wealth of experience, Rosie McKay, has over 16 years styling and wardrobe curation know-how. She is highly sought after for event dressing and personal styling, and has worked with host of local and international personalities and celebrities as well as everyday professionals and mums who engage Rosie for style makeovers, wardrobe edits and personal shopping. She is a master at knowing how to mix chainstore and designer brands and can adapt her art for dressing to suit all shapes and sizes. Rosie has established relationships with many of Australia's biggest brands and retailers, online retailers, boutique labels and international shopping platforms. She produces all the original fashion and beauty editorials exclusively for See.Need.Want. and writes majority of the content or commissions to other content creators who are experts in the lifestyle areas the site covers.
