Most of my clients come to me seeking to build a versatile wardrobe that can take them from the office to a work event or dinner with ease. Many are entrepreneurs or small business owners who split their time working from a home office, meeting clients and sometimes travelling for work.
Some may no longer work in a corporate environment but it’s important that their style reflects they way want to be perceived in business - as one of my client put it “ I want to look like the CEO and not the coffee girl”.
Dressing tonally is a great way to keep your look simple but still elevated.
Here are my top tips for perfecting a tonal look:
Dress monochromatic - wear one colour all over it is a fantastic way to make you look taller. Clothing with details at the narrowest part of the waist like a belted jumpsuit , is great to give the illusion of longer legs.
Layer - Layer varying shades of one colour or similar tones.
Accessorise - With flashes of neon and touches of metallic. It really sets off this way of dressing.
